The co-leader and benefactor of the Avengers, who is a self-described genius, billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist with electromechanical suits of armor of his own invention.
The crown prince of Asgard, based on the Norse mythological deity of the same name.
A genius scientist who, because of exposure to gamma radiation, transforms into a monster when enraged or agitated. Ruffalo worked with motion capture performer Andy SerkisThe Imaginarium Studios in preparation for the role. Ruffalo added, “[My role’s] even bigger than last time, and it’s more complex and it has more layers and a bit more arc. Not only that, but it seems that the motion capture process is becoming a whole lot more agreeable second time around. I’m really tripping on the technology of this motion-capture stuff… now I just completely embrace it and see it as this other exciting place we can go as performers.” Describing the relationship between Banner and Hulk in the film, Ruffalo said, “I think there’s a whole relationship with Banner and Hulk that needs to be discovered. There’s a very cool thing happening: Hulk is as afraid of Banner as Banner is afraid of Hulk.” Ruffalo added, “Both of these guys are obviously the same guy, and they have got to come to peace somehow with each other. And I think that this confrontation is building along the lines of this film.”
The co-leader of the Avengers, who is a World War II veteran enhanced to the peak of human physicality by an experimental serum and frozen in suspended animation before waking up in the modern world. Evans said that he was able to maintain the strength he built up for Captain America: The Winter Soldier by working out up to an hour a day. Evans said, “…you pull the plug about two to three weeks before you wrap. When you see the finish line coming, you are so glad to not have to think about the gym. But we are starting Avengers 2, so over the past month, I have been hitting it pretty hard.”
A highly trained spy, formerly of S.H.I.E.L.D. Producer Kevin Feige stated that more of the character’s backstory is explored in the film. Johansson elaborated, “In Avengers 2 we go back… we definitely learn more about Widow’s backstory, and we get to find out how she became the person you see. All of these characters have deep, dark pasts, and I think that the past catches up to some of us a little bit.” On where the film picks up Widow’s story, Johansson said, “At this stage, when you see the Widow, she’s — especially in Avengers, these characters all have a past, and hers [sic] is a very complex one, where she’s realizing — and it’s kind of a continuation of Cap 2 — ‘I’ve never made an active choice. I’m a product of other people’s imposition.’ That’s going to catch up with her. That’s bound to have a huge effect. There’s got to be a result of that realization… You’ll see her actively making some choices in her life, for better or worse.” A mixture of close-ups, concealing costumes, stunt doubles and visual effects were used to help hide Johansson’s pregnancy during filming.
A master archer who worked as an agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. in previous films. Whedon said that Hawkeye would interact more with the other characters in the film, as opposed to the first film where the character had been “possessed pretty early by a bad guy and had to walk around all scowly.”
The former director of S.H.I.E.L.D. who originally recruited the Avengers. Jackson described the role as a cameo, saying, “I’m just kind of passing by… Because, it’s another one of those ‘people who have powers fighting people who have powers’. That’s why I didn’t get to New York in The Avengers. There’s not a lot I could do except shoot a gun.”
The twin brother of the Scarlet Witch, who can move at superhuman speed. About the character Taylor-Johnson said, “Him [sic] and his sister [Scarlet Witch] have been abandoned by their parents and their father, and they grew up in Eastern Europe defending and looking out for themselves and each other… His sister really is his guidance – emotionally she’s the one who looks after him, and vice versa. He’s very overprotective physically – he doesn’t want anyone touching her.” Taylor-Johnson also said that Quicksilver has “real anger frustration” and is easily bored due to a short attention span. Feige stated exploring Quicksilver’s relationship with his sister and his backstory growing up in Eastern Europe would help differentiate the character from Evan Peters‘ version in X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014).
The twin sister of Quicksilver, who can harness magic and engage in hypnosis and telekinesis. Olsen said, “The reason she’s so special is because she has such a vast amount of knowledge that she’s unable to learn how to control it. No one taught her how to control it properly. So it gets the best of her. It’s not that she’s mentally insane, it’s just that she’s just overly stimulated. And she can connect to this world and parallel worlds at the same time, and parallel times.” Olsen drew on her relationship with her older brother and her twin sisters to prepare for the role.
An artificial intelligence programmed with elements of Tony Stark’s personality, who is overwhelmed with a god complex and longs to bring peace to Earth by eradicating humanity. Director Joss Whedon stated that Spader was his “first and only choice” for the role, because of his “hypnotic voice that can be eerily calm and compelling” while also being very human and humorous. Feige clarified, “We’ll be capturing his face and his body to create a whole performance… We did not hire James Spader to do a robot voice.” Extensive scans were taken of Spader’s head and body in preparation for the role. About the character Whedon said, “He’s always trying to destroy the Avengers, goddamn it, he’s got a bee in his bonnet. He’s not a happy guy, which means he’s an interesting guy. He’s got pain. And the way that manifests is not going to be standard robot stuff.” Whedon added that Ultron is “not a creature of logic – he’s a robot who’s genuinely disturbed. We’re finding out what makes him menacing and at the same time endearing and funny and strange and unexpected, and everything a robot never is.” Whedon also indicated that some of Ultron’s abilities from the comics would be stripped.

Additionally, Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, Hayley Atwell, Thomas Kretschmann, and Josh Brolin reprise their roles from previous MCU films as Maria Hill, Col. James “Rhodey” Rhodes, Peggy Carter, Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, and Thanos, respectively. Paul Bettany, who voiced J.A.R.V.I.S. in previous films, plays the Vision, and Claudia Kim was cast as a doctor/scientist and friend of Tony Stark. Andy Serkis is playing an undisclosed role in the film. Avengers co-creator Stan Lee will make a cameo appearance.

The show is based on the theory that there is an alternate universe where every classic fairy tale character exists – a world that has a loose connection to Our World. On the night of her 28th birthday, bail bonds collector Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) is reunited with Henry Mills (Jared S. Gilmore) – the son she gave up for adoption ten years ago – and takes him back to his hometown of Storybrooke, Maine – a place where nothing is what it seems.

Henry has in his possession a large book of fairytales and is convinced that Emma is the daughter of Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) who sent her away so she would be protected from a powerful curse enacted by the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla), a curse in which she is the only one with a happy ending. It’s because of the curse that everyone in Storybrooke is frozen in time with no memories of their former selves – except for the Queen, who is Storybrooke’s mayor and Henry’s adoptive mother Regina Mills. Emma refuses to believe a word of Henry’s “theory” and returns Henry home, but then decides to remain in the New England town…and causes the hands of the clock tower to move for the first time in 28 years.

It’s soon revealed that Snow and Charming concerned for the safety of their unborn child went to seek advice from the imprisoned trickster Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle), who told them their only hope is the child, who would return on her 28th birthday and begin “The Final Battle”. The child, an infant girl, is born on the day the Queen enacts her curse and is placed in a wardrobe carved out of an enchanted tree which takes the child to Our World, where she is raised by adoptive parents as Emma Swan.

As Emma stays in Storybrooke and soon becomes Sheriff following the sudden death of Graham Humbert (Jamie Dornan), Regina’s antagonistic attitude raises her suspicions and prompt her to move in with Henry’s teacher Mary Margaret Blanchard who is really her mother Snow White. Regina’s bitter rivalry with Storybrooke’s wealthiest resident Mr. Gold becomes heated when she learns he is aware of his true identity as Rumplestiltskin and Mary Margaret falls in love with David Nolan, a patient awake after being in a coma who is in reality Emma’s father Prince Charming. David however is married to Kathryn Nolan, the woman who is his ex-fiancee Princess Abigail daughter to King Midas. Unable to deny their love, David and Mary Margaret soon begin a secret relationship that becomes public and upsets Kathryn.

Kathryn eventually decides to go to Boston and let David be with Mary Margaret only to disappear before leaving Storybrooke, due to an effect of the Curse being no one can leave. Some time later an antique jewelry box which belonged to Mary Margaret when she was a child is found buried near the old Toll Bridge and is revealed to contain a human heart which is proven to be Kathryn’s via DNA testing. Mary Margaret is arrested for Kathryn’s supposed murder and is about to be prosecuted by corrupt District Attorney Albert Spencer (Alan Dale) when Kathryn is found alive in an alley. She reveals that someone abducted her and held her captive in a basement for several days but she managed to escape. When corrupt Daily Mirror chief editor Sidney Glass (Giancarlo Esposito) confesses to having abducted Kathryn in order to jump-start his career, Emma is not convinced and comes to the conclusion that Regina orchestrated the conspiracy.

Emma soon discovers that writer August W. Booth (Eion Bailey), who is the first stranger ever to arrive in town after she did, is from the Other World and that he is Pinocchio, who was sent to Our World through the same wardrobe that brought Emma to watch over her. But he abandoned her out of fear and is slowly turning back into a wooden puppet. Emma then makes an attempt to take Henry out of Storybrooke forever, but is then forced to reconsider when he refuses to go. Emma makes a deal with Regina in which she leaves but still visits Henry on occasion.

But Regina knows Emma’s true identity and has retrieved her Poisoned Apple the same one she used on Snow White in order to use it on Emma in the form of an apple turnover. Henry takes a bite of the turnover, collapses to the floor unconscious and proves to Emma the Curse is real. Emma, who now starts to believe after seeing flashbacks of her true past, is forced to forge an alliance with Regina and retrieves Rumplestiltskin’s True Love Potion from underneath the Clock Tower only to have Mr. Gold steal it leaving Emma halfway up the elevator shaft and Regina tied to a chair and gagged.

When Henry is pronounced dead, Emma and Regina return to the Hospital to say goodbye to his body. Emma kisses him on the forehead, causing a pulse of energy to engulf the entire town and restore everyone’s true memories while freeing Henry from the effects of the Poisoned Apple. Snow and Charming reunite with each other and Regina returns to her mansion alone as Emma begins to wonder why no one is returning to the Other World since the Curse is broken. Rumplestiltskin reunites with his true love Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and takes her to a Wishing Well deep in the heart of the forest a well with the power to restore that which one had lost. He takes the potion and drops it into the well, causing a purple cloud to emerge and consume Storybrooke as the Clock Tower strikes 8:15.

Despite Emma Swan breaking the curse, which returns the character’s original memories, they are not immediately returned to the fairy tale world. With the introduction of magic by Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold into Storybrooke, the fates of the two worlds become intertwined, and new threats emerge.

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who wrote Captain America: The First Avenger, stated before that film’s release that they were working on a sequel, and in June 2012, Anthony and Joe Russo entered negotiations to direct. The following month, casting of the supporting roles began with the additions of Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. Principal photography commenced in April 2013 in Los Angeles, California before moving to Washington, D.C. and Cleveland, Ohio. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is scheduled to be released on April 4, 2014, in 2D and 3D.

Captain America (21)

Following the events of The Avengers, Steve Rogers resides peacefully in Washington, D.C., struggling to adapt to contemporary society. However, after a S.H.I.E.L.D. compatriot is assailed, Steve becomes entangled in a mystery that may endanger the globe. Together with the Black Widow, Captain America attempts to uncover the growing machination while fending off hired hit men. When the entire scheme is discovered, Captain America and the Black Widow must recruit the aid of the Falcon and soon encounter an unanticipated and powerful adversary — the Winter Soldier.

A World War II veteran who was enhanced to the peak of human physicality by an experimental serum, frozen in suspended animation, and is now struggling to adjust to the modern world.Producer Kevin Feige said that Rogers reluctantly remains with S.H.I.E.L.D. after the events of The Avengers “because he has nowhere else to go… Things were black and white back then [in World War II], and now it’s hard to know who the bad guys are. We wanted to play on that a little with Cap being uncomfortable with the way S.H.I.E.L.D., and in particular Nick Fury, operates.” Describing his character’s adjustment to the modern world, Evans said, “It’s not so much about his shock with [technology]… It’s more about the societal differences. He’s gone from the ’40s to today; he comes from a world where people were a little more trusting, the threats not as deep. Now, it’s harder to tell who’s right and wrong. Actions you take to protect people from threats could compromise liberties and privacy. That’s tough for Steve to swallow.”
A highly trained spy working for S.H.I.E.L.D., who partners with Rogers.Screenwriter Christopher Markus said that Black Widow was a “great contrast” to Captain America, describing her as “incredibly modern, not very reverent, and just very straightforward whereas Steve is, you know a man from the 40s. He’s not a boy scout, but he is reserved and has a moral center, whereas her moral center moves.” When asked about Natasha’s relationship with Steve, Johansson said “Their working relationship becomes a more intimate friendship. They have some unexpected similarities – they both have their guard up, they have trust issues, and they’ve also both been working for ‘the man’ for their entire career. Through this unexpected friendship that forms, they both start to question what they want.”
Steve Rogers’ best friend, who is turned into a brainwashed assassin. Kevin Feige stated that Bucky’s role in the film will adhere closely to Ed Brubaker‘s Winter Soldier storyline in the comics. To prepare for the role, Stan endured five months of physical training and did historical research. “I dove into the whole cold war thing,” said Stan. “I looked at the KGB. I looked at all kinds of spy movies, and all kinds of documentaries about that time, and what it was about. I grabbed anything from that time period. Anything about brainwashing.”
A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent with the ability to fly and speak telepathically with birds. About the role, Mackie said “I’m playing the Falcon. He’s this guy in Harlem who moved to California and became a drug dealer. His plane crashed, and he was genetically altered, he can fly, and has telepathic powers. He’s the first African-American superhero. It makes me feel all the work I’ve done has been paying off. I have a son, nephews and nieces, and I love the idea that they can dress up as the Falcon on Halloween. They now have someone they can idolize. That’s a huge honor for me.”Mackie stated that Marvel did not let him read a script before signing on, and that he would spend five months doing two-a-day workouts and eating an 11,000 calorie per day diet to get into shape for the role. Mackie also revealed that Wilson is “a really smart guy who went through major military training and becomes a tactical leader.”
An agent with S.H.I.E.L.D. who works closely with Nick Fury.
A S.H.I.E.L.D. operative.
A neighbor of Captain America’s who initially goes under the name of “Kate”. VanCamp says her character takes an “interesting turn” as the plot develops and that this movie is “just the beginning for the character.”
An officer with the Strategic Scientific Reserve and former love interest of Captain America.
A mercenary and a master of the French form of kickboxing known as savateSt-Pierre, a UFC welterweight champion, elaborated, “My character is a French mercenary, speaks French, a martial arts expert of savate, [and an] Olympic lifting champion. [He is] a little bit like a guy who can jump really high and stuff… he’s called a leaper. The character fit me well. “
A senior leader within S.H.I.E.L.D. and a member of the World Security Council. He is also an old comrade of Nick Fury.Redford was cast in part as a homage to his roles in 1970s thrillers such as Three Days of the Condor
The director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Regarding Fury’s questionable code of ethics, Feige said, “Fury certainly rides a line, sort of rides the shadows. He has, I think, lied to every character in every movie, though always for seemingly for the good.””Almost everything that comes out of Nick Fury’s mouth is a lie in some sense,” said Jackson. “He has to ask, is he even lying to himself, too? He has a very good idea of what’s going on but his paranoia keeps him from believing some of it.”

Additionally, Toby Jones,Maximiliano Hernández,Dominic Cooperand Garry Shandling reprise their roles from previous films as Arnim Zola, Jasper Sitwell, Howard Stark and Senator Stern, respectively. Chin Han, Jenny Agutter (who previously appeared in The Avengers as a member of the World Security Council), Alan Dale and Bernard White have been cast as members of Pierce’s S.H.I.E.L.D. team.Stan Lee will make a cameo appearance.

Having this viral site http://www.trask-industries.com for the upcoming movie is a brilliant move by the people behind the X-Men franchise. At least there’s a filler for the void while waiting for the movie to be shown on May of 2014. They should have at least put more promotional gimmickry out there and to post more posters in the succeeding months for the people anticipating the movie such as myself so as not to lose the interests but rather build it up until the movie is released. I must say that it’s a great site because the people are being introduced to the Sentinels and what Trask Industry’s involvement on it. Great job incorporating the little snippet of  Trask Industry at the mid credit scene on the movie “The Wolverine”.  I am very much excited for this upcoming movie…

About the film:

X-Men: Days of Future Past is an upcoming American superhero film co-written, produced and directed by Bryan Singer and featuring the X-Men characters appearing in Marvel Comics. It is intended to be the seventh installment in the X-Men film series. The screenplay is written by Simon Kinberg, Matthew Vaughn, and Jane Goldman, with Singer writing the story. The film is based on the 1981 Uncanny X-Men storyline “Days of Future Past” by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. It is the third X-Men film directed by Singer after 2000’s X-Men and 2003’s X2.

Days of Future Past acts as a sequel to both 2011’s X-Men: First Class and 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand

xmenfirstclassbg x_men_three_ver1

Featuring cast members from both movies and stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, and Daniel Cudmore return from the X-Men: The Last Stand, while James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Lucas Till return from X-Men: First Class. Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Booboo Stewart, Fan Bingbing, Adan Canto, Evan Peters and Josh Helman round out the film’s principal cast. Principal photography began in April 2013 in Montreal, Canada. The film is being shot in 3D.

New Mutants in the film:

X-Men: Days of Future Past is scheduled to be released on May 23, 2014.

Based from the comic book with the same title, “Days of Future Past” is a popular storyline in the Marvel Comics comic book The Uncanny X-Men issues #141 and #142, published in 1981. It deals with a dystopian alternative future in which mutants are incarcerated in internment camps. An adult Kate Pryde transfers her mind into her younger self, the present-day Kitty Pryde, who brings the X-Men to prevent a fatal moment in history which triggers anti-mutant hysteria.

The storyline was very popular at the time and was produced during the franchise‘s rapid rise to popularity due to the writer/artist team of Chris Claremont, John Byrne and Terry Austin. As a result of the storyline’s popularity, the dark future seen in the story has been revisited numerous times. The first issue of this storyline was voted the 25th greatest Marvel Comic of all time by fans in 2001.

But in this adaptation, it’s not Kitty Pryde who went back to the past but Wolverine… probably just to fix the timeline since Kitty Pryde is not born yet then at that time. So it’s more realistic to put Wolverine in that scenario since he hasn’t aged rapidly.

This reality in which the story occurs is designated Earth-811 in the Marvel Multiverse.

The storyline alternates between present day, in which the X-Men fight Mystique’s Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and a future timeline caused by the X-Men’s failure to prevent the Brotherhood from assassinating Senator Robert Kelly. In this future universe, Sentinels rule the United States, and mutants live in internment camps. The present-day X-Men are forewarned of the possible future by a future version of their teammate Kitty Pryde, whose mind traveled back in time and possessed her younger self to warn the X-Men. She succeeds in her mission and returns to the future, but despite her success, the future timeline still exists as an alternative timeline rather than as the actual future. (The Official Handbook to the Marvel Universe: Alternate Universes 2005 gave the numerical designation of “Days of Future Past” Earth as Earth-811).

Rachel Summers, who was a key player in the original storyline, traveled through time from this alternative future, Earth-811, to the present day and joined the X-Men. Nimrod, the “ultimate Sentinel,” followed her to the present and became a foe of the X-Men and the Hellfire Club. Another supervillain, Ahab, later followed her to the present in the Days of Future Present crossover.
